Accelerate key core technology research

In Tiexi District, many enterprises are accelerating the key core technology research.
At TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group, the test station is spotless, the equipment is neatly arranged, the test voltage is up to 1000 kV, and the R&D personnel are meticulous in debugging parameters. "The development of UHV bushings has always been a" bottleneck "problem in the localization of UHV transmission and transformation equipment." said Peng Na, director of the Science and Technology Management Department of TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group. The enterprise has concentrated its scientific research advantages, starting from design, technology, materials, quality, test and other aspects, to overcome technical difficulties one by one.
At the end of 2020, TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group developed ± 800 kV UHV dry-type DC bushing with independent intellectual property rights, which was successfully connected to the grid. In April 2022, the TBEA UHV bushing R&D and manufacturing base with a total investment of 640 million yuan was commenced in Tiexi District.
Focus on strengthening weak links of parts

On December 26, 2022, at the construction site of the East Extension Line of Shenyang Metro Line 1, the shield machine equipped with domestic main bearings successfully completed the construction task of driving 1000 meters, and its designers and manufacturers are Zhou Jun and his colleagues.
The TBM is known as the "king of construction machinery". If the driving system of the cutter head of the shield machine is compared to the "palm", the main bearing is the "palm". This inconspicuous metal ring was once the key part of the shield machine that was not localized.
In order to fill this gap, NHI and the Metal Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly worked on key technologies such as the design, material and heat treatment, precision machining and detection of the main bearing of the shield machine, and developed the main bearing of the shield machine with a diameter of 3 meters. The processing accuracy and performance indicators meet the requirements. In April 2022, the shield machine equipped with domestic main bearings was assembled at the construction site of Shenyang Metro, and began to dig. During the construction, all parameters remained normal.
In view of the weak links of parts and components in the manufacturing industry chain, many manufacturing enterprises in Tiexi District have made efforts to supplement their weaknesses and strengthen scientific and technological breakthroughs.
"Lightweight design is needed here, which can not only solve the problems in processing and manufacturing, but also facilitate the installation and maintenance of products at the user's site." In the design institute of Shenyang Blower Group, Ge Liling and colleagues reviewed and adjusted the product design scheme again.
At the beginning of 2022, SYBG released a list of key projects for internal research and development personnel, and Ge Liling whose 50 years old, took the initiative to unveil the list and served as the general director of the design of the first 0.9M ton/year PDH compressor. "The specification is large and the difficulty is high, so we strive for perfection. The first set of products just passed the factory test a few days ago, and the orders received have exceeded 1 billion yuan," said Ge Liling.
"In the process of tackling key problems, the group has independently developed the compressor supporting gear box and bearing." Yi Hongli, the director of the Science and Technology Management Department of SYBG, said that in the past, the gear box and bearing of such equipment had to be imported. Both the price and the delivery time were "involuntary", and several times the problem of delayed delivery was encountered. "Our own production of gear boxes and bearings can not only make up the shortage of parts, but also help the industrial system to be independent and controllable."
Innovation platform accelerates convergence

Tiexi District also introduced platform-based enterprises to promote the efficient connection between the scientific and technological innovation chain and the industrial chain. Shenyang Zhongguancun Information Valley Technology Service Co., Ltd. has settled in Tiexi for nearly three years, and has linked 62 innovative service institutions and more than 200 technical services.

Zhao Jiarui said,he and his partner founded this company ten years ago, but the development of the enterprise has been relatively slow, until it settled in Shenyang Zhongguancun Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center two years ago.
"From policy interpretation, to publicity and promotion, to resource sharing and customer docking, Shenyang Zhongguancun Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Center has helped us a lot." Zhao Jiarui said that the company's sales revenue has doubled compared with that before entering the innovation center.
The convergence of innovation platforms has accelerated, and the innovation capacity has been continuously enhanced. In 2022, the proportion of research and development funds in Tiexi District to the regional GDP will rise to 3.3%, the turnover of technology contracts will reach 14.6 billion yuan, and the local conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements will reach 30%.
