Chinese "Shear King" re-created a good start in new year
On February 4th, news came from the production site that the 3.5m double-side shearing equipment produced by NHI for a key domestic customer had passed the test of cutting plates in one go, and was the first to complete the acceptance of equipment such as double-side shear and dividing shear.At the same time, the project leader made a special trip to NHI to present a banner, thanking the project team for carefully planning and overcoming difficulties, ensuring the smooth production of the project.Since January this year, NHI has signed orders for nearly 10 shearing products, creating a good start of a new year for Chinese "Shear King".

NHI is known as the "Chinese shear king" in the industry. Since 1951,NHI has been committed to the research and development and manufacturing of metallurgical finishing equipment in China. It has designed and manufactured over a hundred sets of medium and heavy plate finishing and shearing equipment for dozens of large domestic steel companies, including Angang steelcompany limited, Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd, Shagang Group, Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd, Tangshan Iron and Steel Company, Baotou Iron and Steel Company, Wuyang Iron and Steel Company, and Xiangtan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd, with a market share of over 70% for large-scale rolling shear, in particular, the technical level of products such as rolling and cutting double-side shear, splitting shear, and dividing shear is far ahead in China.
At present, the shearing products of medium and heavy plates of NHI have developed to various specifications such as 3 meters, 3.3 meters, 3.5 meters, 3.8 meters, 4.3 meters, 5 meters, 5.5 meters, etc. Among them, the 5.5 meter shearing product is the world's largest specification, breaking the history of China's inability to design and manufacture shearing equipment above 5 meters.In the past three years, NHI has increased its investment in design and research and development, further enhancing the space for product upgrading and transformation based on its existing advantages. It has designed and manufactured more than 20 sets of shear products with high levels of informatization and automation, contributing to the informatization upgrading of metallurgical equipment in China.
